We even work closely with the Elementary Education Degree program for those who want to complete a concentration in mathematics!

Seeking a bachelor's degree?

If you are seeking a bachelor’s degree and your goal is to become a high school (grades 7-12) or middle school (grades 6-8) teacher, you should declare your major in Mathematics with the Mathematics Education Concentration with Licensure.  This program does not require a minor.
Upon completion of this major, you will receive a bachelors of science degree as well as qualification to apply for a teaching license in Secondary Mathematics (7-12) or Middle School Mathematics (6-8) in Colorado.
We also offer a a Mathematics Major with the Mathematics Education Concentration 没有 licensure which requires a minor. This major does not lead to a teacher license but might be an option for students looking to learn more about the field and earn a bachelors of science degree 没有 completing an entire licensure program.
