The purpose of this Council is to provide recommendations 和 ideas for consideration to the 总统内阁. The Council’s charge is to address the University’s high-level challenges regarding 密歇根州立大学丹佛’s internal culture 和 workplace. The Council’s work should be focused on identifying issues 和 developing recommendations to improve the employee experience 和 aid the university in attracting 和 retaining a diverse 和 highly qualified workforce, to include: compensation/benefits, 新员工培训/方向, 员工敬业度, employee awards 和 recognition, career progression 和 professional development for faculty 和 staff.
The Council may consider questions, problems 和 issues that that arise from the President, 总统内阁, 校园气候调查, employee or other governance groups, strategic planning priorities, 和 other sources related to culture 和 the workplace.
The PACCW is divided into three sub-committees:
We are part of the Career Progression subcommittee working alongside Human Resources (HR) to make sure there is fairness 和 equity for faculty 和 staff in career development 和 opportunities for career progression. The 领导力发展 subcommittee for the President’s Advisory Council on 文化 和 Workplace (PACCW) focuses on supporting 和 promoting the growth of all 密歇根州立大学丹佛 employees. Recognizing that not all employees are supervisors, but that all employees are leaders on various levels, 学习 & 开发(L&D)团队, located within Human Resources, is transitioning from a supervisor training to a leadership training program. To effectively enhance the work experience of all employees 和 support all employees, the L&D office has put together a team to review best practices in leadership training 和 how it congruently fits with the values of 密歇根州立大学丹佛.
