病例管理

学生关怀中心 provides non-clinical case management to 学生. Case managers do outreach on behalf of the 护理团队. 保健咨询s are meant to provide a mechanism for community members to report a student engaging in concerning behaviors or needing additional support related to life circumstances.

Case managers are available to help 学生 work through:

– Struggling with a difficult life circumstance or health issue

– Thoughts of harm to self, others, or locations

– Experiencing significant loss such as the death of a family member

– Victim of harassment, stalking, interpersonal violence, or sexual assault

– Struggling with food and housing insecurity or any basic needs concerns

– A need for assistance with public benefits such as 提前 or 医疗补助计划

学生紧急保留基金

The 密歇根州立大学丹佛 学生紧急保留基金 is an emergency stipend for 密歇根州立大学丹佛 学生 who are dealing with unanticipated and/or catastrophic life events that might otherwise cause the student to stop or pause the pursuit of their educational goals.

Stipends are usually capped at $1,000. Students can fill out an application online if they meet the criteria or they can call the 学生关怀中心 to connect with a case manager.

EPIC学者计划

史诗学者 program provides academic and personal support services to 学生 with experience in different systems of care (foster care, 亲属照顾, 法定监护, 青年服务科), and 学生 who self-identify as unaccompanied youth, 解放未成年人, and independent 学生 through the 金融援助 office.

保健咨询s are meant to provide a mechanism for community members to report a student engaging in concerning behavior or is in need of additional support related to life circumstances.

The CARE team comprises diverse 专业s from across campus including Student Engagement & 健康, 学生的行为, 咨询中心, 奥瑞亚警察局, 访问中心, 奥瑞瑞亚的健康中心, 以及教职工代表. Any individual in the community including but not limited to staff, 教师, 学生, 家庭成员可以申请 保健咨询 for a student through an online reporting system.
