The Computer Information Systems Department (独联体) offers a challenging 和 rewarding academic program that is at the cutting edge of real-world computer applications. Information systems courses include h和s-on experience in business computing, 解决问题, 网络, database software applications; programming language courses in Visual Basic, Java, 和 PHP; 和 operating systems courses such as Windows, UNIX, 和Linux.

Advanced study is offered in systems analysis 和 design, database design 和 administration, 电信, local 和 wide-area 网络, 数据挖掘, ERP, 和 Web administration 和 application development. Internships are available for students to obtain real-world experience in the information systems area.

A chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) is sponsored by the department. We have signed agreements with 丹佛社区学院 和 奥罗拉社区学院 to engage in 2+2 programs where students after completing their 独联体 programs can transfer to Metropolitan State University of 丹佛 和 continue their studies towards a bachelor degree.

商学院

The 商学院 offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting, Computer Information Systems,  金融, 管理, 和 Marketing 和 a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. These programs provide a broad background applicable to almost any career, as well as an in-depth knowledge in the selected major. All our programs are available in the evenings for the convenience of nontraditional students. The high quality of our programs is reflected in graduates who have distinguished themselves in business 和 other professions. They occupy positions ranging from chief executive officer to certified public accountant.

Students may transfer academic credit from other schools to the 商学院. The actual number of credits transferred is subject to university policies, articulation agreements with community colleges, 和 an evaluation of course credit by the academic departments in the school.
