We call on you to help your fellow faculty at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 understand more about collaboration with colleagues from other departments and disciplines.

To facilitate rich student learning opportunities that will lead to competencies for working in our inter-professional world and t在这里fore help students become more competent and marketable as future employees through two main activities: 1) Cultivating partnerships among faculty from different Departments/ 项目/ Disciplines that create IPE opportunities for students, and 2) Develop and implement new activities that encourage IPE to flourish at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 by a)assessing current IPE activities at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 to understand frequency and quality and barriers that exist and, b) Addressing identified needs through activities such as forums for discussion and sharing, 政策的制定, 等.

The 密歇根州立大学丹佛 Interprofessional Education (IPE) Committee’s first conference is all about facilitating interprofessional communication among faculty to increase the impact of our courses for students. The conference has a in-person and online attendance option
Creating an Interdisciplinary Course Offering/Activity: Tools, Resources, and Help:
Interdisciplinary faculty collaborations lead to better student outcomes by increasing cognitive abilities to think critically, to see the same material through different lenses, and to practice collaboration skills; however, the steps to create and deliver IPE can be daunting. This Faculty Learning Community will provide space and colleagues with evidence-based practice resources to help you design an interprofessional activity that will be used to increase active learning in your classroom. We will assist in goal setting, 沟通策略, learning objectives and outcomes, and strategies to overcome barriers in collaboration.
Well-designed interprofessional activities/offerings to be used in courses
We hope that faculty will adopt IPE and offer it for their students in their courses. Lots of research could be done regarding IPE as t在这里 is a paucity of research, especially in Hispanic- Serving, 资金不足的大学.
