The Branch of 学术事务 promotes academic excellence through:

• Promoting excellence in student learning and faculty teaching
• 支持ing diverse professional development activities for faculty
• Actively encouraging and supporting the faculty in the development of grant initiatives
• Investigating and expanding international education opportunities
• Successfully responding to accreditation requirements, state and Board performance indicators and state or national licensure standards for academic programs as needed

The Office of the Provost/EVPAA helps to create and support a relevant and engaging learning/teaching environment for 密歇根州立大学丹佛 students and faculty. One of our many goals is to facilitate access and ensure success for our students through a student-centered curriculum and a highly-qualified faculty, who are dedicated to excellence in teaching, 学术活动, 和服务. 密歇根州立大学丹佛 provides a supportive learning atmosphere for students to pursue their studies, with rich opportunities for interaction with their peers and with their faculty. 学生 engage in active learning appropriate to their discipline; in doing so, they participate in the exciting process of discovery, and have a chance to learn in experiential and cooperative settings across traditional academic disciplinary boundaries.

The Provost works collaboratively with his Senior Leadership Team, including the Deans of three Colleges and two Schools – Letters, 艺术 & Sciences; Health and Applied Sciences; Business; and the 教育学院 and 酒店管理学院. Also included on the team are the Associate Vice Presidents for Academic Effectiveness, 课程及政策, 研究生学习, 本科阶段的学习, 创新 & Lifelong Learning, Online Learning, and 教员事务. Our academic programs are offered in a variety of modalities and venues: on campus, 在线, 在校外的几个地点, and, in partnership with the Colorado Community College System on select Community College Campuses.
